Twenty-two-year-old Mexican international Carlos Vela is in the midst of his fourth loan since signing with Arsenal in 2005. He’s been shipped out to Salamanca, Osasuna, West Brom and now Real Sociedad.
His career may be sputtering, but things were looking up this past weekend when he scored his second goal of the season, a Rivaldo-esque bike in traffic in the box that lifted Sociedad into a 2-2 with Malaga in the 89th minute.
