Danny Rose Represents for Spurs

Nineteen-year-old Danny Rose made his debut for Tottenham yesterday, and did this in the 10th minute, helping Spurs down Arsenal 2-1:

Unbelievable, and it should clear up any lingering confusion people have regarding the Tottenham youngster and this guy.

At Villa Park yesterday, Tim Howard produced some highlights of his own, making several outstanding saves in Everton’s clash with Howard’s fellow Yank Brad Friedel and Aston Villa. But Howard’s efforts were undone by a Phil Jagielka own goal in stoppage time that lifted Villa into a 2-2 tie.

In the third game of the day, Wigan blew the best chance left on its schedule to boost its odds of Premiership survival, getting held to a scoreless tie at home by lowly Portsmouth, which is already relegated. Wigan is five points above the drop with Arsenal coming to town this weekend
